5 Ways to Find Influencers on Twitter

Last week I wrote a blog about the importance of Influencers. I wanted to follow up with some easy ways to track your Influencers online. There are so many tools out on the web today to track down people to follow, but here are a few of my weekly go-tos.

Simple Google Search- Google is my best friend. It has the key to all of life’s answers, including Influencers in my industry. To find Influencers on social media it is as easy as typing in Google Search “(Insert Your Industry Name) Social Media Influencers”. You can also change social media to specific social media applications i.e. Twitter, Facebook, Instagram.

Social Bro– In my eyes, Social Bro is one of the best social media applications on the market. Luckily, you don’t have to take my word for it. You can try out Social Bro for 30 days and then do as I will do and purchase it for $13.95 a month. It seems a little steep, but once you see the functionality you will be hooked. The way to find Influencers on Social Bro is to click on the “Search” tab and type in your keywords i.e. Social Media. And voila. You have a list of Influencers.

Followerwonk– Followerwonk is new to me, but I found it in another article about Influencers and it looks pretty reliable. As I started browsing around Followermonk I realized it is an amazing tool. Not only can you find Influencers but you can compare them if you want to target them. To find Influencers click on the “Search Twitter bios” and type in your keyword. A large list of users on Twitter.

About.me– About.Me understands the importance of Influencers and just came out with a tool to find Influencers. The tool is similar to the rest, with one caveat it is integrated with the About.me site so you can add people directly and thumbs up people. About.Me is a social media application that connects all of your other social media applications together and then you create a profile. It is a good site to use if you don’t have a blog or website.

Twitter- I know, it’s crazy. To actually look for Twitter followers on Twitter. But it works. Here are a few ways to look for Twitter followers on Twitter. The first way is to use the search bar and put in your keywords for search i.e. social media. On the let once the search has come up click on the left and change the “Everything” search to “People”. Another way to look for Influencers on Twitter is click on the #Discover tab on the top of the page. Once you click on #Discover, on the left change it to “Activity” here you can see who the people you follow are following. If someone looks interesting, then add them!

Hopefully, these tips are helpful in finding your Influencers! Who are you influencers?

  1. Start to concentrate on creating well-rounded link popularity.
It is merely a personal and business choice as whether or
not to step on that particular stone in the pathway of business.

In case you buy followers you are no longer responsible for the increase of them.

  3. Do you mind if I quote a couple of your articles as long as I
provide credit and sources back to your website? My blog site
is in the very same niche as yours and my users would really benefit from some of the information you present here.

Please let me know if this alright with you.
    Thanks a lot!

  4. Currently it appears like WordPress is the best blogging platform available right now.
